The focus of this meeting is Getting Out the Vote! The best way to counter GOP/Trump/MAGA voter-suppression efforts is to run up the margins in a wave election so that the outcome is absolutely incontestable. And we have some ideas for doing just that:

Help get out the vote for the Mid-Term election by using Indivisible’s Neighbor 2 Neighbor battlegrounds canvassing tool and the practice of deep canvassing.

Our GOTV strategy is to combine Neighbor 2 Neighbor with Deep Canvassing. What is Deep Canvassing, you ask? Simply put, it’s a voter contact method that shifts people’s hearts and minds on an issue and/or candidate. It involves compassionate listening, personal story exchanges and crafting curious questions. 

This six minute video discusses the value of deep canvassing.

WHY DOES IT WORK? Research shows deep canvassing is 100 times more effective than traditional canvassing. (Yes, you read that right.)

There will be opportunities at this meeting to sign up for Neighbor2Neighbor, practice deep canvassing and learn about other election-related actions you can take.
