DESCRIPTION:May Day 2026 is being organized by the UP Regional Labor Federa
 tion (AFL-CIO). Lake Superior Region Indivisible and Yoopers UNITE! are ha
 ppy to be supporters and co-sponsors of the 2026 May Day celebration along
  with the National Education Association (NEA). \n\nWhen billionaires and 
 corporate interests rig the rules for themselves\, it will take more than 
 business as usual to stop them. Every gain working people have ever won ca
 me from collective action — and May 1 is our moment to stand together ag
 ain.\nYes\, I'll be there! Register HERE!\nOur May 1 Priorities\nMake bill
 ionaires pay their fair share so our families\, schools\, and communities 
 come first — not their profits.\nProtect and strengthen Medicaid\, Socia
 l Security\, and the public programs working people rely on.\nFully fund p
 ublic schools\, healthcare\, and affordable housing instead of padding bil
 lionaire tax breaks.\nDefend our democracy from corporate capture and ensu
 re elections reflect the will of the people — not the wealthiest few.\nS
 tand with immigrants\, communities of color\, Native communities\, people 
 with disabilities\, and LGBTQ+ people against policies designed to divide 
 and harm us.\n&nbsp\;\nOn May 1\, we will demonstrate our collective power
  through coordinated action in our communities — rallies\, teach-ins\, w
 alk-ins\, and visible solidarity that makes clear: when working people uni
 te\, we can set the direction of this country.\nJoin us as we honor May Da
